Description
K1334025 is composed of three main parts. A constitutive lacI repressor generator(J23106,P0412), an inducable promoter which can be activated by adding IPTG(R0011), and an E7 lysis protein which can result in the lysis of E.coli if being expressed. This reconstructed biobrick can be used to prove the function of E7. When IPTG is added to the mixture, the growth rate of E.coli drops. Besides, this part can also be used to help the release of a target protein to the exterior of cell when you add such a protein part(with its independent promoter) to the end of this part.Notes
