Description
pBad is an E. coli promoter that is tightly controlled by:
*inducer: L-arabinose.
* repressor: AraC apparently acts as the repressor
one study concluded that arabinose can change the conformation of araC and prevent it from successfully binding to and repressing pBad.
pBad is followed by a GFP tripart in our construction .
Notes
AracpBAD was digested by SpeI -PstI (insert) and cloned into the psb2k3 that contain the gfp tripart .
Source
flgA promotor comes from E. coli K12 strain MG1655. gfp tripart comes from the registry.
