Description
This construction gives the possibility of adding the most suitable promoter in order to regulate GFP transcription and any genetic sequence inserted after RBS and before TetR. In the absence of tetracycline bound in the tetR site, the promoter tetR (part R0040) transcripts the RFP (or the gene located in the region corresponding to RFP).
Notes
This part was design to be regulated by inducible promoters such that the presence or absence of the inducer will affect GFP and RFP expression.
