    Description

    This part is an improvement on BBa_I13507, which has been distributed with the incorrect sequence.

    It consists in a Reporter Coding Regions of an RBS (B0034) an mRFP coding sequence (E1010), a barcode, and B0015 terminator. It can be used downstream of a promoter to test it's efficacy. We hope that this part will be used in place of the incorrect twin BBa_I13507

    Notes

    The RFP was amplified using the following primers:
    - GTTCTTCGAATTCGCGGCCGCTTCTAGAGAAAGAGGAGAAATACTAGATGGCTTCC (F)
    - GACTGCAGCGGCCGCTACTAGTA ??

    The part was assembled using SLiCE (PPY) assembly.

    This part was amplified from the J04450 standard RFP Generator contained in a pSB1K3 plasmid from the 2014 iGEM distribution kit.
