Sequences BBa_K212002_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This construct is a reporter, which is activated by the EnvZ kinase domain of Taz. EnvZ phosphorylates transcription factor OmpR, which in turn binds to the OmpC promoter. This cassette contains the promoter region of OmpC (BBa_R0082), ligated in front of red fluorescence protein (RFP) gene (BBa_E1010). The ribosome binding site is . There is also a double terminator sequence.

Notes

This part was assembled using the normal BioBrick assembly protocol.
