Description
This part contains the VioD gene codon optimized for yeast (BBa_K2165001) attached to the Gal1 inducible yeast promoter (BBa_J63006) and the ADH1 terminator. The inclusion of an inducible promoter in this construct makes it easier to control the color output of the violacein pathway by altering the concentration of galactose in the cell environment to control the level of expression in the presence of other genes in the violacein pathway.Notes
