Description

LinB is a dehalogenase enzyme. It degrades haloalkanes which are toxic pollutants that accumulate in food chains. This part has the LinB incorporated at an insertion site.

Notes

The linker and D3 overlap sequences are standard for our parts. By digesting the plasmid with the two inner enzymes, SpeI and NheI for our BB-2 standard parts, you can purify and then PCR overlap extend using the following protocol to result in a brand new chimera.

This part was amplified from a plasmid provided to us by another research lab. It was then used for PCR overlap extension into the flagellin variable domain using the part K781000 as a template.
