Description

This is the coding sequence of a fusion protein which contain kivd from Lactococcus lactis subsp., linked with a zinc finger Gli1. It encodes alpha-ketoisovalerate decarboxylase which is responsible for the decarboxylation into aldehydes of α-keto acids derived from amino acid transamination.Kivd plays a vital rule in the isobutanol biosynthesis pathway. And the zinc finger can help us fixing enzyme on the DNA program to assemble a production line.
