Description

This sequence codes for a green fluorescent protein (GFP) which has been codon optimized for Pichia pastoris and engineered to include a 6xHis-tag in its N-terminus.

Notes

The codon optimization utilized had to take in account the illegal restriction sites to be avoided in order for it to be standardized.

Source

The sequence, previous to its modification, came from the optimization of the wild-type GFP found in Aequorea victoria.
