Description

This sequence codes for CrtI (Phytoene desaturase), codon optimized for expression in Pichia pastoris and engineered to include a 6xHis-tag in its N-terminus and the peroxisomal targeting signal type 1 (PTS1) in its C-terminus.

Notes

The codon optimization for the sequence had to take into account the illegal restriction sites to be avoided in order to be compatible with assembly standards.
