Description

This construct is designed to exist in a plasmid separate from a plasmid coding for the zinc finger-fused enzymes involved in the PHB enzymatic pathway. This construct codes for phasin targeted for secretion by the Type I pathway as well as the Type I associated membrane proteins HlyB and HlyD. It also contains a repeated sequence that allows ordered binding of Zif268-HIV, Zif23-GCN 4, and "Blues" Zinc fingers.
