Description

This part combines the arsenic transport genes and the photochelatin synthase gene from Arabadopsis Thaliana. Coupled with the Arsenic resistance pathway, this part is designed to complex and transport arsenic into a vacuole.

Notes

The largest issue is the promoter being used- it really should be a promoter that is designed to work in plants. Finding a promoter that works in plants, but is sensitive to arsenic concentrations has almost impossible. The same can be said about the RBS and terminating sequences- ideally, these would be plant specific as well.
