Description

This part uses a pLac promoter to create motB and also uses an inverter (cI and pcI) to produce LacI. In addition LasI is produced in the motile state, which creates the signalling molecule AI-1. LasR is a transcription factor created in the immobile state. AI-1 and LasR form a complex to initiate transcription from pLasR promoter. We call this the Freeze Machine.
