Description
This biosensor is built to sense C-4 AHL molecules. The constitutive promoter continues to express Rhl receptor(RhlR), and as the Rhl receptor binds with C-4 AHL, it binds with promoter sequence of Rhl and produces more Rhl receptor and reporter GFP which can be detected. The adding of a Rhl receptor before GFP is to induce a positive circuit in order to magnify the signal.
Notes
The sequences are confirmed and there is no restriction enzyme sites in the sequence.
