Description

This part is used to test TetR/RFP half-life. pLac constitutively expresses TetR/RFP, making the cell red and repressing the pTet that expresses GFP and LacI. Half-lives can be determined by looking at fluorescence patterns, which can be synchronized using IPTG.

Notes

RFP and GFP served as reporters that allowed us to collect data that could be analyzed.
