Description
K1334026 is composed of four main parts. A constitutive lacI repressor generator(J23106,P0412), an inducable promoter which can be activated by adding IPTG(R0011), an E7 lysis protein which can result in the lysis of E.coli if being expressed, and a GFP reporter cotranscribed with E7. This reconstructed biobrick can be used to prove the function of E7. When IPTG is added to the mixture, the growth rate of E.coli will drop, and a large amount of GFP can be detected in the supernatant of the bacterium solution.Notes
