Sequences BBa_K1423004_sequence (Version 1)

Description

This part is a constitutive promoter, a ribosome binding site, a cell surface anchoring motif, a caprine arthritis encephalitis virus capsid protein domain, and a double terminator. We designed this part to use in our direct agglutination assay. The BCLA NTD will allow the capsid protein domain to be expressed on the outer surface of the cell. The capsid protein domain is an antigen which we then used with antibodies for agglutination.

Notes

The CAEV capsid protein needed to be in frame next to the BCLA domain.
