Sequences BBa_K2115003_sequence (Version 1)

Description

pCooM promoter is regulated by CooA when there are high levels of carbon monoxide in the environment,
when this promoter is activated a pink chromoprotein and a LuxR promoter will be transcribed. The expression of LuxR is going to bind to the AHL molecule that allows the transcription of the plux promoter (BBa_K2115002)

Notes

Adding LuxR to later activate pLux promoter.

Source

pCooM:it comes from the CooA transcription factor from Rhospirillum rubrum
RBS: ribosome binding site
LuxR: a part of the quorum sensing system
Terminator: an RNA sequence that usually occurs at the end of a gene or operon mRNA and causes transcription to stop.
