Description
The part features LacI constitutively expressed by pCI and pLac expressing TetR/RFP. TetR/RFP then inhibits pTet, thus inhibiting GFP expression. The RFP is tagged to TetR, so the half-life of RFP would equal the half-life of TetR. By knowing the half-life of LacI and the promoter strength of pCI, TetR half-life can be deduced.Notes
